A successfully tested electro-optical technique for recording atmospheric turbulence effects on stellar irradiance and phase is described. The results of application of this technique are quantitative measures of the stellar "seeing" parameters of scintillation, image motion, and image size. Data recorded in the field on magnetic tape were later subjected to a detailed computer analysis. Samples of the computer-generated statistics are presented to demonstrate the experimental technique and the relationship of these statistics to current theory.
