Conductive and electroactive nanofibers of SIBS/SWNT can be obtained from SIBS/SWNT dispersions by electrospinning. This useful combination of properties, combined with the compatibility of the SIBS/SWNT fibers with L-929 cells, opens up the possibility of using these materials for studies of the effects of electrical stimulation on cell growth.
