In a discharge through He mixed with a trace of C2N2, two new band systems have been found. It has been shown that these systems are due to two transitions of the CN+ molecule. For the first system the foliowng constants have been determined: Y = 45844.6, B0 = 1.8870, B'0, = 1.8868, w = 2670.5, w ' = 2033.0 . The second system, which has the same lower state as the first, cannot be completely analyzed because of erturbations and overlapping. Probable values of the constants are = 31381.6, co' = 1265, and B0 = 1.402 . Four bands, as yet unidentified, are discussed.
