An outline is presented of the behavior of ferromagnetic materials in large high-frequency fields. It is shown that, because of the collective behavior of the electronic spins, instabilities set in beyond a certain critical field amplitude. Finally, the application of such effects to the construction of ferromagnetic amplifiers is discussed.
