Presented is a wideband reconfigurable MIMO antenna, which is the combination of a reconfigurable balanced dipole and a two-port chassis antenna. Measurements show that the prototype antenna can tune the operating frequency from 646 to 848 MHz and 1648 to 2074 MHz with instantaneous bandwidths of 14–93 MHz. The proposed MIMO antenna provides low correlation and high efficiency within these operating bands.
