An empirical determination of the neutrino rest mass can be obtained from the H/sup 3/-He/sup 3/ mass difference and the H/sup 3/ BETA end-point energy. If the experimental lower limit of the true BETA end point is subtracted from the H/sup 3/-He/sup 3/ mass difference, the result is an empirical for the neutrino rest mass. This upper limit is independent of any theory of beta decay and reenergy (W.D.M.)
