This study assessed illness, injury, and mental health complaints among professional female golfers on the Ladies European Tour. A cross-sectional survey of 48 golfers found high four-week prevalence rates of injury (81.3%), illness (69.6%), and mental health complaints (79.1%). Neck, lower back, and wrist were the most common injury sites; anxiety, low mood, and performance anxiety were the most frequent mental health complaints. Mental health complaints were significantly more prevalent in those with injury (Chi 2 = 5.0; P = 0.025) or illness (Chi 2 = 6.0; P = 0.014) complaints, highlighting the need for holistic care and improved mental health support.
