We review the major observed and inferred features of the three currently known nonthermal radio planets, the earth, Jupiter, and Saturn. Several of the properties of the three planets are quite similar, suggesting that the same processes take place at all three. In addition, Jupiter has two radio components in the low‐frequency range which may not have analogs at the earth or Saturn. We speculate on the expected addition of Uranus to this list of radio planets.
