Fourteen patients with laryngeal palsy and one patient after unilateral cordectomy have been examined by radiography. The appearances are described. The mode of behaviour is in agreement with the views expressed in a previous communication on the mechanism of the closure of the larynx (Ardran et al., 1953). Details are given of the patients' voices.
