The scattering of alpha particles from He⁴ has been studied for laboratory energies between 3.8 and 12 MeV. Ten angular distributions have been measured over this range of energies as well as excitation curves at the center-of-mass angles 30.6^∘{}, 40^∘{}, 54.8^∘{}, 70.2^∘{}, and 90^∘{}. A phase-shift analysis of these data has been made and is compared to previously published results.
