The design and measurements of a stacked-patch antenna for GSM1800-UMTS bands are presented. The main features of this antenna are the bandwidth and the high matching level. The design presented addresses and successfully solves common planar-antenna difficulties, which have appeared as the result of the bandwidth and array requirements. Low-cost materials have been included in order to reach an industrially suitable design.
