A generalized defect relation for holomorphic maps into algebraic varieties

Abstract

We establish a generalized defect relation for holomorphic maps into algebraic varieties intersecting arbitrary families of linearly equivalent divisors. Based on this, we also give an improvement of many previous second main theorems for holomorphic maps
