As in a previous study of a Buffalo, New York sample of 108 black and white boys and girls, there is no evidence in the present research conducted with a St. Louis sample, that white examiners depressed the WISC performance of black children. Where there were significant race of child × race of examiner interactions, the black children achieved their highest scores with a white examiner.
