It is shown that a simple analysis based on similar fades measurements of ionospheric drifts by the spaced antenna method, and variations of it, allows calculation of all the parameters normally obtained only in the correlation method of analysis and that this may be particularly useful under equatorial conditions involving high anisotropy of the ionospheric irregularities.
