The specific heat of argon has been measured over the temperature range 16° to 35°K. The results are used to calculate a value for the Debye θ, which is in excellent agreement with lattice dynamics. The specific heat of an equimolar argon-krypton mixture has been measured from 12°K to the melting point. No evidence of any phase separation can be found from the results.
