Coagulation mediates LPS/RAN hepatotoxicity in rats; hypothesis-generating for mechanisms of human idiosyncratic drug-induced liver injury.
In a rat model, LPS/RAN-induced hepatocellular injury and inflammatory gene expression are mediated by coagulation system activation, an effect not seen with LPS/FAM.
