The controllable carbonization over TiO2 nanofibers developed to create carbon–oxygen bonding interface, which cannot only inject visible-light sensitivity but also hasten electrons into highly conductive graphite surface, thus boosting charge production and separation. This work renders synergistic regulations of optical and electronic benefits for TiO2 photocatalysts.
