Summary A new unified method is presented for relating porosity, water saturation, capillary pressure (or height in the reservoir), and permeability through multilinear regression with core and log data. This method, an extension of Heseldin, is well-suited to computer processing. In addition to general use in reservoir description, this new method is also shown to be useful in several specific applications.
