Describes a laboratory method and computer program for preparing artificial reagents and reference tables for testing factors VII and X.
May enable isolated VII/X testing in labs lacking reagents; leaves open clinical validation and standardization.
Summary A method is described to prepare artificial reagents to test the factors VII and X individually. A procedure is given to obtain reference tables suitable for the use of these reagents as well as for any other type of specific one-stage in the extrinsic system by means of a computer. The programme is obtainable in Algol, Fortran or Focal.
