Fast neutron scattering cross section and analyzing power measurements have been performed for ²⁷Al, ⁿᵃᵗCu, and ⁿᵃᵗCr at incident neutron energies of Eₙ=7.62 MeV (Al) and Eₙ=7.75 MeV (Cu,Cr). Elastic scattering and inelastic scattering to the first excited states has been measured at angles from 21^∘{} to 124^∘{}. The scattering data obtained from the unfolded proton-recoil scintillation spectra were corrected for multiple scattering effects. Optical model parameters could be deduced by applying the excited-core weak-coupling model for a coupled channels analysis.
