We report high-resolution electron-energy-loss spectra at 14.3 and 19 eV incident electron energy for electronic excitations in multilayer films of amorphous ice. The lowest electronic transition has its threshold at 7.3 eV and its maximum at 8.5 eV. It is followed by a broad shoulder around 10.4 eV and a rise above 11.6 eV.
