Photoconductivity and luminescence produced by 0.2 μs X‐ray pulses, and thermally stimulated currents were measured between 80 and 260 °K. The electron schubweg is controlled by traps, some of which (in excess of 10 15 cm −3 ) are deep and are destroyed by oxygen. The probability for radiative recombination is small compared to that for trapping. The mobility in oxygen doped crystals is the same in the surface as in the bulk. Anomalies in the temperature dependence of the mobility are attributed to trapping and re‐emission.
