NF-κB plays a crucial role in the pathogenesis of NAFLD via multiple inflammatory and metabolic pathways.
With the economic growth and better standards of living, the prevalence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is expected to increase dramatically worldwide. NAFLD is a common chronic inflammation disease. NF-κB is a transcription factor that plays crucial roles in inflammation, immunity, cell proliferation and apoptosis.
