Syntheses, crystal structures, and magnetic properties of a family of heterometallic octanuclear [Cu ₆ Ln ₂ ] (Ln = Dy( iii ), Tb( iii ), Ho( iii ), Er( iii ), and Gd( iii )) complexes

Five novel [Cu ₆ Ln ₂ ] complexes were synthesized, wherein Ln III ions are seven-coordinate and coordinated by one triethanolamine and three di-2-pyridyl ketone ligands, without coordinated solvent molecules and small anions.
