Grid-tied multiple-source AC/DC microgrids leverage various renewable energy sources (RESs) to meet local demand and sell surplus power to grid. During grid outages, maintaining power balance relies heavily on battery energy storage (BES). Mismatch between local load demands and RES generation present a challenge, necessitating seamless integration of doubly fed induction generators (DFIGs) and solar photovoltaic (SPV) arrays with grid connectivity. This paper introduces a control strategy using a generic modified Blake-Zisserman adaptive filter (GMBZ-AF) to enhance operation and power quality of multi-source microgrid. Proposed system configuration includes multiple DFIG units and SPV arrays for renewable power generation, with a DC bus supported by a BES through a DC-DC converter. This design facilitates modular expansion with additional DFIGs and SPV arrays. Proposed control strategy ensures maximum power point tracking (MPPT) of DFIG units and SPV arrays, unity power factor (UPF) operation at grid side and DFIG stator terminal, and adherence to power quality standards with seamless transition to all operating modes, despite load transients and RES variability. These enhancements are verified using simulation and real-time experimental results using three DFIG and SPV array units.
