Triangular W(Se x S 1−x ) ₂ nanoflakes uniformly dispersed on the surface of electrospun carbon nanofiber mats were synthesized. The hybrid catalyst mats were directly used as hydrogen evolution cathodes and exhibit excellent HER performances.
