Au–DTZH was synthesized by a one-step photochemical route and used for the amperometric sensing of thiocyanate. The modified electrode has a sensitivity of 16 nA nM ⁻¹ and a limit of detection of 23.35 nM at a potential of 0.55 V vs . Ag/AgCl.
