Dissociation of the Ru−O bond of coordinated water in the aquaruthenium complex 1 (L = H2O) was slower in acetone-d6 than in CD2Cl2, as evidenced by variable-temperature NMR experiments. The two N-hydrogens of the coordinated RNH2 in the amine complex 4 (L = NH2Bu) underwent deuterium exchange in CD3OD with greatly different rates.
