The aim of this research is to analyse socio-economic characteristics and explain patterns in localization of non-governmental organisations (hereinafter 'NGOs') in V4 regions. The analysis will be performed using descriptive statistics and panel data regression with selected socio-economic indicators applied at the regional level. Results reflect the impact of economic growth in regions, and importance of tertiary-educated population in NGOs localization.
