The article presents an analysis of lexical methods of speech impact in public service announcement of the People's Republic of China. The empirical basis of the study was made up of announcement texts dedicated to the ideologies of the “Chinese dream” and “core values of socialism”. The purpose of the study was to determine the features of impact techniques implemented at the lexical level, taking into account the specifics of Chinese public service announcement. To achieve this purpose, the following tasks were set: determining the types of evaluative vocabulary used in the analyzed announcements; highlighting the main linguistic and cultural stereotypes; determination of the subject and object of evaluative actions; analysis of vocabulary for the content of the ideological component. The study used methods of lexical-semantic and component analysis, etc. The evaluative vocabulary used in public service announcement was analyzed. Ways to enhance the impact of an announcements message at the lexical level, as well as types of ideologically loaded vocabulary in terms of interaction with the visual component of the announcements message in polycode texts of public service announcement, are considered. As a result of the study, conclusions were drawn about the peculiarities of the use of lexical units, their role in increasing the impact potential of the ideologies “Chinese dream” and “core values of socialism”, as well as the implicit effect on the addressee of the public service announcement.
