May warrant cardiovascular evaluation in pulmonary tuberculosis; hypothesis-generating and requires confirmation in contemporary cohorts.

This series is believed to represent the largest group studied to date. It is unique because the average age of the patients is somewhat higher than is usually found in a sanatorium group. Approximately 25 per cent of the active cases have been observed over a period of two to seven years. During this period of observation, repeated cardiograms and roentgen-rays were made. Circulatory disturbances dominate the clinical symptoms and are...References1. MEEKWILSON WJA: The effect of changes in the position of the heart on the QRS complex of the electrocardiogram, Arch.
