Measurements of the 1.26-ev resonance in rhodium have been made with a crystal spectrometer and the following values were obtained for the parameters: E₀=1.260±0.004 ev, σ₀=(5000±200)×10^-24 cm², Γ=0.156±0.005 ev, gΓₙ=(3.8±0.2)×10^-4 ev, and σfa=(5.5±1.0)×10^-24 cm². The shape of the resonance agrees to very high accuracy with the one-level Breit-Wigner formula. The procedure is discussed for analyzing experimental data in cases where small corrections are required for instrument resolution and Doppler broadening.
