VR training model for exploiting security in LPWAN

Low-Power Wide-Area Networks (LPWANs) are becoming one of the main building blocks for the Industrial IoT ecosystem. While the current LPWAN deployments include basic techniques to deal with end-to-end encryption, there are specific security issues that arise due to the overall architecture and protocol layer design. In this work, we introduce a training Virtual Reality (VR) based model that help users to investigate the provided security tools in LPWAN protocols. Moreover, we design and build several use cases scenario to train a user for managing several threat factors, ensuring data protection and security in operation of LPWAN in Industry 4.0.
