Céniga et al. (2025) conducted an observational in Juxtarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm (n=51). Preoperative hemoglobin < 13 g/dl vs. Preoperative hemoglobin ≥ 13 g/dl was evaluated on 30-day mortality (p=0.001). Preoperative hemoglobin < 13 g/dl was significantly associated with higher 30-day mortality compared to normal hemoglobin levels (30% vs 0%, p=0.001) in open juxtarenal aortic aneurysm surgery.
