Ferromagnetic resonance has been used to examine single-crystal alloys of Ni containing up to 8 at.% V down to 4.2K. The g value is found to be temperature dependent. An orientation-dependent resonance linewidth is observed. In the low V concentration alloys this can be explained by the motion of the magnetisation but for the others a field-dependent damping constant must be used as well. Results are given for the first three anisotropy constants.
