The anisotropy of Ba-ferrite (BaFe 10.4 Co 0.8 Ti 0.8 O 19 ) particulate media having a perpendicular orientation was studied using ferromagnetic resonance. An effective anisotropy field H k of 2.87 kOe and a gyromagnetic ratio γ/2π of 2.76 GHz/kOe were obtained. Also, the magnetocrystalline anisotropy K u of 1.2×10 6 erg/cm 3 was obtained for the Ba-ferrite particles.
