Switching curves of exchange-coupled ferro—antiferromagnetic double layer films

An investigation is made of switching curves of a double layer film consisting of a ferromagnetic and a uniaxial antiferromagnetic thin film coupled together by exchange coupling. The magnetization state in this coupled film system is considered in the framework of the model of uniform rotation. The exchange coupling between the films is described by a ferromagnetic interface cosine coupling. Such theoretical considerations have been performed hitherto only for exchange-coupled film systems consisting of ferromagnetic thin films.
