Social Justice Approach to Community Development

If community development were viewed as a process to strengthen social justice in metropolitan areas, what would it be? At a time when many metropolitan areas are becoming more segregated and more diverse, this article formulates a new approach to address inequalities and recognize differences among community members. It employs the scholarship of integration to examine elements of the process and identify issues arising in an approach of this type.
