Background: The expanded endonasal approach (EEA) is increasingly used to treat cranial base tumors. However, the impact of EEA on quality of life (QOL) and sinonasal function is not defined. The aims of this study were to (a) define the QOL of patients undergoing EEA, (b) identify factors unique to EEA so that an instrument specific for EEA may be developed, and (c) assess the effect of EEA on sinonasal function.
