Transverse sections of the olfactory bulbs were prepared for seventy‐one male and six female albino rats, all of which were of the Experimental Colony strain obtained from The Wiostar Institute. These were selected and grouped according to age so that representative ages throughout the whole of the postnatal life cycle are available.
