The development of asymmetric supercapacitors (ASCs) was driven by the increasing need for energy storage devices with extended cycle life and high power density. Comparing ASCs to symmetric supercapacitors , a longer working voltage window and better energy density are possible. To improve the supercapacitive characteristics of MOF-808, we used a hydrothermal synthesis approach to incorporate nanoparticles into Ti₂N layers. MOF-808's large surface area and varied porosity provide improved ion transportation and storage capacity. In contrast to Ti 2 N, which possesses high rigidity and electrical conductivity . The MOF-808/Ti 2 N composite has a specific capacity of 1894C/g at a current density of 1 A/g. Asymmetric supercapacitor (ASC) was also developed by using the MOF-808/Ti₂N and Ti 2 N MXene . The hybrid device (MOF-808/Ti₂N//Ti 2 N) works on higher working potential of 1.6 V with excellent cyclic stability and an energy density of 86.4 Wh/kg.
