Several of the brighter 0 stars near Car have spectral types earlier than the earliest MK classification standards; they are classified 03. One of them, HD 93129, appears to be an unusual higher- excitation analogue of the Of stars. Its spectrum shows interesting similarities and differences with two WN-A stars of the same region.
