Seasonal Variation of (E)-Nerolidol inSiparuna guianensisAublet and¹³C-NMR Spectral Assignments of (E)- and (Z)-Nerolidol

The essential oil of Siparuna guianensis Aublet leaves collected during different months of the year were analyzed by GC/MS. (E)-Nerolidol was the major component of the oil of S. guianensis, collected in June during flowering. A large seasonal variation in the nerolidol content (0-99–3%) of S. guianensis oil was observed.
