Monitoring IM plasma concentration is significant throughout the whole process of management of GIST patients receiving IM treatment. In particular, regular monitoring IM plasma concentration and developing appropriate treatment strategies can bring better therapeutic benefits for patients with low doses, diarrhea, advanced condition and older age.
