The treatment of the large facial hemangiomas which contain multiple arteriovenous fistulas has been discouraging. Excision, radiation, sclerosing agents, etc. have been, for the most part, unsuccessful. Cunningham and Paletta1 recently reported the use of muscle embolization with good results. This is another report of a successful case.
