Animal husbandry in the Chkalov region in 1946—1950: number, composition of livestock, products

. The article analyzes the number and composition of livestock and the production of the main types of livestock products of the Chkalov region in the first post-war years. The authors state that in the years mentioned, this sector of agriculture was in deep crisis caused, first of all, by the Great Patriotic War that had just ended. In addition, the severe weather conditions of 1946 and 1947 also did not contribute to the rapid recovery of individual and community animal husbandry.
