Recording in situated subjective perspective and the subjective re situ interview : a method for the constitution of experience. Cognitive anthropology is the study of the cognitive basis of experience. Not only is it the analysis of a subject's actions, but also of the implicit knowledge evoked during action. Most methods of investigation involve studying situated acts. These are based on interviews, sometimes video recorded and provided as support in the study. The underlying supposition of this method is that the subject is capable of accurately remembering an event. In this study, we present a new method of investigation which allows the investigator to dialectically link an image, situated subjective perspective, with a type of interview that focuses on phenomenological experience, subjective re situ. We analyze the epistemological and meth odological status of this method and compare it to other methods which have similar objectives. The subjective re situ interview is indeed a scientific method of validating phenomenological experience.
