: the article presents the developed structure of the self-contained dump truck control system. The working conditions were highlighted and the scope of application of the unmanned quarry dump truck was determined. The differences of the pit dump truck control system from the traditional heavy duty dump truck con-trol system are presented. The general layout of the control structure of the self-contained quarry dump truck with the highlighted main elements and devices of the control system was analyzed. Structural units of the con-trol system have been analyzed with indication of their technical characteristics. The main disadvantages and features of the control system of existing dump trucks are highlighted.
