Summary This paper presents a structural-strategic approach to family therapy with antisocial and delinquent behavior in children. The approach is based on a specific conceptualization of antisocial behavior and emphasis on the essential legalistic-therapeutic tension that pervades work with these families. Assessment and intervention techniques and rationale are presented as well as attention to the use of skill-oriented individual therapy.
