Compared with the traditional cast-in-place construction, the safety risks of the production operations of prefabricated buildings are characterized by higher complexity and greater hazards. Construction safety management of prefabricated buildings (CSM-PB) is gaining increasing attention from practitioners and researchers. However, there is a lack of systematic review studies in this research domain. This research systematically analyzed 64 peer-reviewed papers from Web of Science (WOS) and Peking University Core Database in terms of the research regions, authors, keywords, and themes. The findings show that the current CSM-PB relevant studies mainly focused on the risk assessment and mathematical modelling and other topics are relatively dispersed. Finally, this research provided the potential research directions for the CSM-PB research area to further promote the construction safety management.
